Sometimes is a mental health and wellbeing website for people in St Helens. It brings together information about getting help, looking after yourself, supporting someone else and finding local services.

By using Sometimes, you agree to these Terms of Use.

What Sometimes is for

Sometimes is here to help you find information, ideas and support when you need it.

The website includes:

  • Ways to help yourself right now
  • Crisis and urgent help
  • Local services in St Helens
  • Information about mental health and wellbeing
  • Ways to support someone else
  • Messages of hope from people in St Helens

Sometimes is an information and signposting service. It is not an emergency service, crisis response service or replacement for professional medical care.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, use the appropriate emergency services.

Information on Sometimes

We work to keep the information on Sometimes useful and up to date.

However, services can change their opening times, contact details, eligibility or availability. We cannot guarantee that every piece of information will always be complete, accurate or current.

If you are using information about a local service, check the service’s own website or contact them directly where appropriate.

Sending a letter

Sometimes allows you to send a message of hope to other people in St Helens.

Letters are reviewed before they are published.

You must only send a letter that you are happy for Sometimes to publish after it has been reviewed.

Please do not include:

  • Your address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Passwords or other private information
  • Information that could identify another person
  • Information that you do not have permission to share

We do not ask for your first name and age when you submit a letter, these are never published.

Letters are not a way to ask for help

  • Contains advertising or promotional material
  • Contains viruses, malicious code or anything intended to damage the website

We may remove or refuse to publish anything that we believe does not meet these rules.

Other people’s websites

Sometimes contains links to websites run by other organisations.

These links are provided because we believe they may be useful. We do not control those websites and cannot guarantee their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

When you follow a link away from Sometimes, the other organisation’s terms and privacy policy will apply.
